Venture Crew 217 is chartered by Lake Magdalene United Methodist Church (LMUMC) in Tampa, FL. Our goal is to provide a program that is geared toward High Adventure activities and promote community involvement. The High Adventure activities are chosen by the Crew members and have included these past activities: backpacking, camping, white water rafting, deep sea fishing, scuba diving, high wire canopy (zip line), boating, skiing, tubing, swimming, horseback riding, canoeing and mountain biking. Our community involvement is through LMUMC and our new affiliation with Easter Seals. We will help Easter Seals with several of their events including the Walk-A-Thon and golf tournament.
